Vintage Ideal Waterman's No42 9ct Gold Fountain Pen & Box

Description

An absolutely beautiful pen, in wonderful condition. It  is 135mm in length.  The gold clip is stamped ‘Ideal logo FDW 9.375 ‘, (British 9ct gold hallmark). The gold filigree on the barrel is stamped ‘FDW 9.375’, (British 9ct gold hallmark). The goldsmith’s mark FDW is matching on the filigree and the clip. The filigree looks to be in perfect condition, and there is no engraving. The lever is working correctly, and the internal spring bar is attached. The ink sac is dry, and will need replacing. There are no cracks in the end of the cap. 'The nib is stamped ‘Waterman’s Ideal Reg.U.S’.  The box is showing some signs of aging, but has no broken corners. There are no scratches on the BHR, that would be detrimental to the pen. The end of the barrel is stamped ‘Waterman’s Regus.”. Shipments can be consolidated.
